Monika’s New Cloud-Based Solutions Keep Users Safe
With the recent M&S cybersecurity attack, which resulted in major disruption to services, theft of customer personal data, and the knock-on impact affecting physical stores, the importance of effective cybersecurity is under greater scrutiny than ever.
Monika’s recently released cloud-based full web solution enables continuous data transfer from its hubs on client’s sites using cellular mobile technology, so avoiding the building IT infrastructure and the internet and thereby bypassing the major areas of cyber vulnerability. This also means that regular updates can be deployed to site on a continuous basis as required. These updates not only provide up to date cyber protection, they also continuously improve its clients’ user experience.
Behind the scenes Monika has an ongoing policy of moving to the latest security standards, frameworks and technology, while maintaining industry standard accreditation such as ISO 27017 and Cyber Essentials.
Lorraine Gamble, Monika Managing Director UK & Europe, explains how this translates in a practical sense for Monika customers:
“Connecting teams and equipment is at the centre of everything Monika does and ensuring we’re doing this safely is a high priority for us. We don’t just install your Monika system, we’re there every step of the way to support our clients on an ongoing basis. This includes working behind the scenes with our dedicated technical team to ensure the highest levels of cybersecurity to protect businesses.”
In the 1990s Monika became the first company to introduce completely wireless temperature monitoring capabilities and have been at the forefront of technological innovation ever since. As part of their leadership status within the industry, the company has developed an extremely strong technical foundation through their team of dedicated engineers, where security measures are interwoven in all their existing and future projects.
