New recruits for Monika’s UK office

May 1st , 2014 by

Market-leading wireless monitoring provider Monika has made two new appointments at its UK Head Office to strengthen the company’s offering and profile.

Joining the Monika team in Leicester this spring are Technical Support Assistant Tim Crisp and Marketing & Communications Officer Lindsey Frodsham.

23-year-old Tim, from London, has a Programming degree from De Montfort University and a background in the foodservice industry. In his new position, Tim will provide telephone, VPN and on-site support to Monika’s nationwide clients.

Tim said: “The team here is second to none and I am really pleased to be taking on this role with Monika, which is such an established industry leader.

“I will be focused on the growth and development of Monika’s already unparalleled customer support offering, with a particular emphasis on technical materials.”

22-year-old Lindsey, from Rugby, has an English degree from Cardiff University and previously worked in PR. In her new role, Lindsey will develop and implement Monika’s marketing strategy and oversee the distribution of its key messages internally and externally.

Lindsey commented: “My plan now is to introduce customers to the benefits of TaskMinder wireless task monitoring, and raise awareness of Monika as providing a full safety solution which can streamline the entire HACCP process – not just temperature monitoring.

“After gathering communications industry insight at a PR agency, I wanted to move on to the next step in my career. Monika is very supportive of my experience and offers me a wealth of opportunities to develop.”

Speaking about Monika’s recent expansion, Managing Director Tim Gamble added: “Tim and Lindsey have joined Monika at a very exciting time, with the introduction of our new TaskMinder monitoring system and ongoing expansion of our customer network across the UK and internationally.

“We’re delighted to have attracted two such enthusiastic graduates to the Monika team, and look forward to hearing their fresh ideas on how we can best meet our customers’ constantly evolving needs.”

Monika has over 20 years’ experience in delivering temperature and task monitoring and currently employs over 30 people. Monika’s customers range from major contract caterers to national supermarket chains and the Houses of Parliament to cutting-edge medical facilities.
