Leading wireless monitoring provider Monika has been awarded accreditation from safecontractor for the seventh year running, in recognition of its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.
safecontractor is an esteemed third party accreditation scheme which recognises high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.
Tim Gamble, Managing Director of Monika, commented: “With our highly trained engineers and customer service team, Monika’s customer support is unparalleled in the safety monitoring industry. With this level of support, our clients expect us to have sound health and safety policies in place, and this safecontractor accreditation is testament to our high standards.”
safecontractor is applicable to most industries and particularly relevant to the food manufacture, property, facilities management, retail and leisure sectors – all of which make heavy use of contracted services.
John Kinge, Technical Director of safecontractor, added: “More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Monika has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector.”
Under the safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process that examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Those companies meeting the scheme’s high standards are included on a database, accessible online to registered users only, making it easier for clients to identify Monika as a reliable company to do business with.
This annual renewal builds on Monika’s safecontractor status held since 2008.
Monika employs its own team of dedicated engineers and has over 20 years’ experience in delivering temperature and task monitoring. Monika’s clients range from major contract caterers to national supermarket chains and the Houses of Parliament to cutting-edge medical facilities.
